first day out with better half also swingin' a detector

i bought an ACE250 for my better half to use. she got the hang of it pretty quick and found a couple of bucks in clad. its nice having a hunting buddy!

my finds worth mentioning where one of those new gold colored dollar coins and a 1957 silver quarter. both came from the endzone area of a soccer field at a city park. for those of you with fisher coinstrikes, the dollar coin came in as a solid 34. it had me wondering as i dug. out popped this heavy coin with no reeding on the edge. then i saw the indian and realized what it was.

we did pretty good at another hidden city park. we both found several bucks in clad. no wheats tho'.

Hey I need your avatar pic as a sign in my front yard! I hate having neighbors. They walk their dogs and think my front yard is a toilet and they NEVER clean up after their pets.

Congrats on the finds, It's a start I wish I had a hunting buddy

I had a person that also thought my yard was their dog's toilet. One day I caught them out there and their dog pooping, so I yell out the front door you gonna clean that up? They pretended not to hear me. Well,I put the poop in a bag and tied it to their front door. They don't even come on my side of the street anymore. Problem solved.

It is great to have a hunting wife.
We are out every weekend hunting.
If you and the wife are ever out in Colorado stop on by and let's do some swinging!
Dang that really did not sound right the way that came out.

LoL I have already told a few I would be happy to return it if I have to pick it up & to be very careful where they step when coming out their doors. This hasn't worked, so guess I'm gonna have to follow thru and actually do it (not that I want too tho)

Sounds like a great time and it's nice to be able to enjoy a hobby together, then there is no complaining how you don't spend enough time together.
