First day out ever, found a few things. Not sure what this big thing with a cross is.

Hello, I am new here and new to the hobby. I went out on some of my old land here in IL where I knew I saw a old foundation in the woods. After about 30 min I found this about 3 - 4 inches down:



I am not sure what this is maybe a piece to a stove?

Lots of trash (broken cast iron/metal shards and nails)

And about 95 cents where we usually park when we are there. (nothing special)

For my first hour ever it kept me interested in the hobby and foresee lots of woods exploring in my future.

I think that is what is known as a "tractor weight" They were put on the front of tractors to keep the front end down while pulling.

Scraping at around 80 lbs and .01 a lb for iron I am just tossing it in my large vivarium for my Water Dragons to play on.
