First Day Beach Hunting!

Was like a kid on Christmas morning today. Tracking my new AT Pro delivery told me that today was the day. Well When the door bell rang and I opened the front door, there was my new toy! Funny how those UPS and Fed Ex drivers just ring the door bell and then sprint back to their truck isnt it? Anyway, i opened my new package and put together my metal detector. I also got a Beachmaster Sand scoop as well. Anyway, in the days between ordering my ATP and getting it I read up and watched everything and anything i could find about my new machine so as soon as i put it together i was off to the beach! I found a lot of junk but i also found a lot quarters, dimes, and nickels too! Nothing old but i dont care, i was just as excited pulling up bottle caps! I love the clanking sound of metal on metal when you are shaking the sand through your scoop!! I cant wait to get back out there early tomorrow morning! I am already thinking of old childhood spots that haven't been developed yet that I can hit up soon. But for now i think i will stick to the beach, it was so relaxing. Time just flew by. My wife thinks that i am nuts, haha! I love it!!😬

You sound just like me!! I also detect on the beach with AT Pro, as soon as you get the ground balance numbers right between wet and dry, it kicks ass! I was digging last night in wet sand as deep as my little shovel would go, around 26 inches just to pull out a 20 cent coin. Settings were STD, Coins, and 2 notches down from full sensitivity.

People don't believe how deep these things can go!
