first coin roll hunt!

hi everyone!i got $20 in nickels from the bank today. in the rolls i got, 1939S , 1941S(small s), 1947,1948, and a 1959. i guess thats pretty good for the first try! i got the 1939S and the 1941S in the same roll. i also got a 1968S and a 1970S. i also got alot of 1960-1965 coins. i also got TONS of the westward journey nickels. i am just going to see what i have in my westward jorney nickel book, and spend the rest of the westward journey nickels. the teller actually acted glad to get me the coins. she said no problem and i said thanks! i didn't know how they were going to treat me since i'm only 14. i had my mom come in, just in case . i think nickels are the best to search now. i just keep thinking if that would have been a year older, it would have been a buffalo!

Congrats on your nickel haul. Hopefully by the time you can drive(Legally that is) Silver will be at about $40 an ounce. Cheers, Jim

Welcome to CRHing, and WTG on the nickel score! I wish I'd have searched rolls when I was 14 back in 1979. Probably a lot of silver halves in rolls back then.

Nickels are great to search. I've found 4 buffalo nickels this year and many more war nickels. Good stuff is still out there. Happy Hunting.
