Was hitting a old foundation site where the finds are getting slim and far between. Lucky the one good signal of the day turned out to be this amazing little spider button never seen one of these type before. Any info would be great thank you.

Front and back cleaned up a little, the back is just the opposite of the front looks like the button was punched

Nice looking button. Looks to be stamped brass with a spider on it. Shank was welded on. Probably mid 19th century. Very cool button. Congrats.
 

Awesome, thank you for the information. Very interesting design and was found in the same site as my 1857 flying eagle one cent coin.
