ATA-BOY on the first Barber....WOOOO HOOOO!! Those are some of my favorite designs.
How old is the house and was there a house there before that one? Keep it low and slow. 8)

Geez, I wish I had a yard like that.

Can't wait to see what other 'firsts' you pull out of there !!

Congrats,

Brian in MA

Very nice. Still waiting for my first Barber. Judging by the years of your finds, you have a shot at some key date wheats! You've got a good spot. Congrats on the silver.

I'm not sure about the date on the original house. The house that is there now was built in the early 1950's.
The original house age is in question. The lot was sold on the 1890 map that I have, but I'm not sure when they built on it. My grandmother remembered there being a two story house on the lot but that's all we really know. The older stuff is pretty deep, I'm getting iron at fourteen inches.

Thanks for the replies. I have no idea where the wheats are, I sure haven't found any yet. The only old penny I've found was my first IH, an 1898.

Gorgeous coin. Keep em comming. J
