After reading Capt. SE's post this afternoon, I HAD to go out! I read that at about noon, and I knew I better go find something! lol.
I went for a serious hike in the woods this afternoon , and managed to finds these 2 silvers. The 1960 Quarter came first, then the 1900 Barber dime was next. Among a bunch of clad.
There was about a half an inch of snow on the ground, but I was able to dig just fine.
Thanks for lookin'.
TBK.

Very nice indeed. I'm sure those two will fit nicely into you collection. J.

Nice coins and spooky too. 1900 was an election year, McKinley won and was assassinated.
1960 was an election year too, Kennedy won that and if you don't know what happened to him, WHERE YOU BEEN?

Those are some excellent finds, TBK, no matter what the conditions were in your neck of the woods. I'm glad I gave you a little inspiration to get out there and swing your coil. You did just fine! ;)
