Rang in high, like 86-90, and it was too deep for the pinpointer (10").

Research says they stopped putting this logo on cars in 1934, after 22 years.

Good stuff! You are gonna love the AT PRO, I sure do.

I've driven a Studebaker! Quite an unusual looking car, streamlined for its day and now quite a collectors item and hence so may your ornament be collectable! Check it out, old car folks eat this stuff up. Have fun with the new machine and thank you for posting some old memories for me..........63bkpkr

At 10 inches it probably wouldn't qualify as one of my "trashcan lid" hits. :)
But, bingo! And there it is, your official first AT-Pro find. How'd handle?

Happy New Year!

ITs better than digging a smashed soda can as a first find! I see great finds in your future

Nice find - you'll like the AT :-)

Awesome find! It's pretty cool finding older car logos. That usually means there is a good chance for silver, too!

Well, I already hate East Coast beaches and their black sand... Went to Coin Beach in DE this morning, and found a nickel - and then only bc it was on top of the sand >:(

Cool first find
