Howdy! This is my first post here. I dont know jack about metals or smelting or anything, I'm here helping my father in law sell some piece of equipment he has (located in Steubenville, Ohio) called a "Firecone 500".
I'm here because when Googling for the Firecone 500 the ONLY search result I could find about the thing was from this site ( http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/scrap-metals/106896-smelter.html ).
So the story behind the unit goes that my father in law's father used to work metals and had a scrap yard. This was apparently one of the machines he used. I know it fires with propane, and have no idea about it beyond that.
Any ideas what price range they are worth? It's a big and heavy unit, I cant imagine even trying to ship the thing, so I'd imagine it'd be a "pay cash when you pick it up" type of transaction.
