Fire King "Montana is for Lovers" Mug- any value?

I see some Fire King milk glass mugs are valuable, what about this one? I can't find any like it. I see some state advertising mugs sell for $20, but is this too faded? Please let me know what you think.

I would love to be able to tell valuable milk glass from reproduction stuff, I see milk glass looking items all the time and no clue which is real and which is not.

I am 90% sure this is real Fire King, but ebay prices are everywhere on these mugs. Thank you for chimming in! HH

FAQs for Fire-King Collectors | Fire-King Mug Your mug dates to the mid to late 1970's. The fading of the heart will definitely hurt the value. By itself, the value is only a couple bucks maybe, imho. I would save it until I got more Fire King mugs to go with it. That's what I do. Sell them in a lot.

Some may advertise Fire King logos as being rare. Here is a quick way to date your piece:

1942 - 45 FIRE-KING in block letters
1942 - 45 OVEN FIRE-KING GLASS
mid 1940's OVEN FIRE-KING WARE
mid to late 1950's OVEN Fire-King WARE MADE IN U.S.A. ("Fire-King" is written in script lettering)
1951-1960 ANCHOR HOCKING OVEN Fire-King WARE MADE IN U.S.A. ("Fire-King" is written in script lettering)
1960 - late 1960's ANCHOR HOCKING OVEN Fire-King DINNERWARE MADE IN U.S.A. ("Fire-King" is written in script lettering)
late 1960's- early 1970's ANCHOR HOCKING OVEN Fire-King OVEN-PROOF MADE IN U.S.A. ("Fire-King" is written in script lettering)

Markings on the bottom with dashes, bumps, and numbers are mold marks and batch numbers. They neither add nor detract from the value.
