Evening Folks 10 years of Treasurenet:occasion14: Been a little busy with other matters and haven,t been out for a hunt much. While picking through the rubbish thrown down an old mine shaft i found this copper tin. Ok Wishburne's M.F.C 1903 Paper Clip Tin. Over the years i found some really nice silver and copper . Extra's of a gold metal detectist of primary Gold deposit hard rock mines and other structures in the same area.I keep my first gold rush and the latter hard rock mine finds separate. First for me to find a tin that is complete and in half reasonable condition. I think over the years i could have filled a bucket with tears of the almosts and half of's Heres the tin and my humble silver and copper display.Bound by limited history even with great gold mines.

10 years on tnet! Wow, one thing this site did to me was further feed my addiction lol, already on my 3rd detector and thinking of the big leap to #4. I've learned a ton from people here and even meet up with and hunt with fellow tnetters quite often, neat finds by the way

Love the intricate details on your silver & copper items -- gorgeous! :icon_flower::blob9::icon_flower: Nice vintage paper clip tin too. :icon_thumright:

During my 4 years on t-net, I've enjoyed and learned a lot from your wonderful descriptions of history & old photos of the areas you search, plus your excellent site pics! Yours isn't an easy area to detect in, so I know you work hard for every wonderful item you dig, both the relics and the gold. Many treasures have come your way!
Here's a happy toast to your next ten years of successful research and detecting!!! :occasion14: Andi

I'm with Cjon this place makes it more addictive than ever plus the new machines coming out revitalize the old hunted out areas. It's a great time to be a detectionist!

I too have enjoyed your posts and pics tinpan , the research that accompanies them is exemplary ! congratulations on your first ten years.

Happy anniversary, and a decade under your belt. I'm on year 7.

You made some nice Silver saves. That big cross, and the military medal are my favs. Looks like a gold fob there as well.

Its lovely, Tinpan. I have always enjoyed your posts and am glad to see you back.

Awesome bunch of finds.

Thanks for the interest in my post T>P

Those are great old pieces. There's more care and pride put into each one from a time when craftsmen were proud of their work and it showed. Nice collection!

Tinpan..wow..what an MIND BLOWING display of trinkets, coins and other artifacts you have amassed there over the years! Sure would love to see them in person to ooh and ahh all over them! (and maybe slobber a little). great stuff, thanks for sharing..and here's to the next ten years!! ddf
