I went to Point No Point beach today here in Washington State. It was 35 degrees out so there was not a ton of people. I stayed about 2 hours. Found a 1965 nickel, a crazy piece of junk jewelry and a dog license tag from Seattle. I was pretty much digging every tone figuring at a minimum I would be cleaning up the beach. Had a blast and got some exercise.

I also took some time to show a little girl and her father what I was doing since they were curious. I try to be as pleasant and informative as possible so folks will have a positive view of the MD community.

Keep hunting and dont give up you will find something good eventually. It is important to show the md community it is friendly and fun!

Sounds like fun on the beach, even if you didn't have a great day MDing. Sooner or later you will learn your machine and you will be finding the good stuff. HH

Lol this is all good stuff! Every little piece tells a story. Who knows whos dog lost their tag and what kind of drama that caused. Someone probably loved, or at least liked, that junk jewelery. As for all those melted pieces of aluminum, it must have been one hell of a party! I bet the hangovers were legendary!

The Items we find may not have a cash value but it all took a journey to get in the ground. I don't feel cheated at all. I was happy to find it!

HH!
