Hi all
Was running around in the woods again today and found some things that i have no idea what they are.

1) An Ax (what it is for one and how old=No idea) ???
2)Think they are hinges for a leather purse (Think its copper,How old=no idea) ???
3)Copper star of some sort (=no idea) ???
4) Funny thing with two rings on the end (Friend of mine thinks it maybe Roman or Celtic=no idea) ???
5)Copper coin ( 1 Bavaria Pfenning 1825)=Some idea. :P

Kind of funny.I go out looking for ww2 relics and i find this stuff.I think im doing somthing ass backwards here.
I hope some of the European Pros can help me identify some of these things.

Greetings from Germany.

No. 2 - 1800s purse bar bits
No. 3 - Star is a belt or leather decoration
No. 4 - is a strap junction for a horse harness and is Medieval 1300-1500.

I found a copper star almost exactly like that down in Biloxi, MS. I found it in a vacant lot next to some homes that were built in the late 1800's. This may be from a similar era. I don't know what it is either. Hope you find out.

neat stuff ya found..I do the same, if I have no clue what it is...it comes home with me..lol... keep on hunting and do keep on sharing those pix..I love that star thingy.

Interesting finds Viking! That copper coin is in very nice condition. I have also found a few of those star looking decorations that Crusader IDed and I was never sure what they were but I did suspect they were a decoration of sort, they are very thin. Did you happen to recheck the hole where you found that purse bar? May be something else there like a gold or silver coin, LOL, it is possible. Axehead looks interesting, maybe for debarking a tree, surely not for splitting wood. HH, Mike

Thanks for the info CRUSADER :)
I know alot about German ww2 relics, but anything older than the 1800s i have no idea.

@Mike
Im happy with the coin, but i wish i could finally find some Silver. All im finding (when it happens) is copper.
I did recheck the hole when i dug the purse bar bits,No signal.Do you think i should have dug deeper anyway. At the time i didn´t know it was part of a purse.

@And to the rest.Thx for the posts :)
