Here are Claudia's and My Finds for our Beach Hunt at Galveston, Texas for Thanksgiving 2009 Weekend. My Newish Waders Work Out Perfectly. We really do find some weird stuff, and if we dig it up we bring it back. I keep adding items to my collection for my Statue Of Junk Finds I Am Making Calling: "From Trash To Treasures". A lil bit of everything... wish they made cars that lasted as long as them pull tabs... I am still amazed I can pull one out of the water 2 in deep and looks like new.

I found some items wading and Claudia found some in the dry sand with her Ace250. here are a coule examples:
I found the conduit at the edge of the surf line about 4" deep and Claudia found the Come Along Thingy in the dry sand area.
Remember we had Hurricane Ike blow through Galveston September 2008 as a Category 2 Hurricane with a Category 5 Equivalent Storm Surge and it did a lot of damage, so the items will be coming back ashore for quite sometime.
