Two hunts worth of finds and about 4 hours of detecting a field. Here?s the finds:
The lead, three lead seals
A large horse bridle collet, 6.5 centimeters in diameter
Relics, an earring, large smashed thimble, a shoe buckle and my first Jews Harp, you can see the notch where the twanger was
Close up reverse of the earring, not very old but I?m surprised the loop and all is still intact coming from a plowed field
Found 12 buttons, these are the more interesting looking buttons
Seven coins, starting at the 12:00 position and working right, 1943 copper, 194? Zinc, 194? Zinc, 1865 copper, 1817 broken copper, 1924 copper. That square beauty in the middle is a Regensburg 1766 copper 1 Pfenning, my third Regensburg
Close up of the 1766 copper Regensburg, they are very small, a 1 centimeter piece of paper beside it for size reference. It only has an obverse, the reverse is blank and was made so.? HH and thanks for looking, Mike
