I got back out and hunted one of my favorite old parks . It still gives up the goods :headbang: . The best find was a 1950's - 1960's sterling Winky + Dutch ring . It was a good 5-6 inches deep and had a VDI of +76 . It's missing the picture that would have been on the front . I have posted a picture of one that is complete . Also found two wheats . 1942S & 1944D . The other very cool finds were a very old pin or broach , it still has 4 of the 5 stones in it . The other is part of an old lock .
The ring total for the year is at #29 :hello2:
HH
Glen

That is the little plastic piece off the front of the ring . No picture on it , may have faded away .

Sorry I didn't say anything about it . It says Brown Die on it . I have no idea what it is .

Awe, shoot. I could about make out something, like a Roman (or Spanish) headcap or something. What a beauty though and just not many pieces out there like it. Cherish it my friend. :headbang:

Well, it's interesting, I didn't think much of it. But I notice the stones are set rather than just glued. I'm thinking maybe a woman's hair clip, scarf pin or broach, like you say. I'm thinking at least in the retro era or older. Any idea about the metal or what the stones are because maybe that would help. Could they be jade, opalite, or mother of pearl? Give us another picture if you decide to clean it up some more or let us know if you find any more info.

BTW, if it turns out to be worth anything, I wouldn't be surprised if the stone is in the hole still (gee, I'll drive ya nuts won't I?)

When I do come visit your jewelery store I want 50 % off......Because I know how much you paid for all your rings!

Awesome finds!
