Havent had a chance to get out much but yesterday made it back to a picnic grove i have hunted on and off for 12yrs.The last photo is the display case of finds from the grove over the years.
Set the SE up for all metal and ferrous tones....did not get any deep targets but managed to sort out some keepers.
1892 Indian head
1919-s wheatie
1918 wheatie
1906 v nickle.
The 1916 Buffalo nickle came out of my yard.
And i included the trash and 1 newer dime i recovered also.

thats a lot of keepers you have found out of that spot! congrats!

Sweet collection of coins you've pulled from there. Keep em coming!

Nice job!

Ferrous tones seem to tease out more targets. The Buffalo Nickel sound is hard to ignore. It definitely slows down the hunt, but it's cool to hear everything.
What iron mask setting do you use?

Congratulations!

Was running in all metal mode..
Yes everything in the case came from the picnic grove.....

Pulled several indians and a few wheats from my yard. The thing is it has been hunted with several detectors and not one of found that nickle.
Was messing around with the Se in all metal with ferrous tone and found it.
When we 1st hunted the Grove between 3 of us in about 2 hrs we got 40 coins.....but the finds are getting tougher to come by after 12 yrs...
Thanks for all the nice comments....

sounds like a great place to hunt ! 12 years and still has a surprise or two for ya ;D
