Got out yesterday in the rain and took a chance at a lake.? Was hoping it was drained but no luck, it was still full of water and dang, a 30 minute drive.? The shallow end is too deep for me to swish with my land machine so I tried to recover some gas money in the sandy volley ball courts and playground areas.? Managed to recover gas money at just over 5 Euros and a few pieces of jewelry.? Here?s the bling, a small .925 silver earring that looks like it could have a diamond in it.? Found the .925 micro stamp on the stem, thanks Steve!? A junk earring and I?m not sure if that heart charm is part of the earring, found separately.? A nice .925 silver ring and the other ring which I thought was gold/silver doesn?t have a stamp at all, not even an Avon stamp.?
Here?s a few finds from the past few relic hunts.? 4 lead seals
The button looks military with a rampant lion and a small buckle.
Two little mounts that look like they may have been strap mounts for some kind of horse tack and the legs from a Jesus statue
A few more relics, look like some kind of book type mounts and a tag
A nice little copper bottle deposit token that says ?Lenzbr?u Kemnath? on the obverse.? This brewery quit making beer in 1978, founded in 1667, too bad!? The brewery is now a drink distributor.? No idea how old the token is.
Reverse of the token, says bottle deposit ?Flaschen Pfand?
Obverse of two silver coins, the left is an 1831 3 Kreuzer and right is an 1853 3 Kreuzer that was probably burned in a fire.? Hard to make out but they are nearly identical.? HH, Mike
