Hello, I am the 13 year old kid that Metal detects at my grandparents civil war house. Also really close to where I live is a house from a revolutionary war veteran made in 1798. I've metal detected there last weak and have found a railroad spike. This time I had way way more time there. I found a 1960's kids cap gun. Not from colonial era but still a interesting find. I also found a washer type thing and a square nail that looks to be from colonial times. Thanks! The nails were about 5 inches deep in the ground by the way
