Well I really hate just posting 1 item at a time, so I have hung on to these until I had a few. I found the basket weave ring marked "925" at a high school field where all different sports are played, and found the silver bracelet marked "silver 925" at a local soccer field and the pearl ring was found at a local park. It is marked "18kt HGE" and a hallmark of a diamond with a v in it.
I know that the weave ring and the bracelet are silver, but I have my doubts that the ring is white gold. It has a "Pearl" setting that does not look real and I'm not sure how to tell and then has very small "diamond" type stones set around it. Several of these stones are missing which leads me to believe that they are not real. When I dug this ring the VDI on my DFX was between +70 and +72 which is where most of my silver finds read. My sister has worked at the Jewelry Dept of Walmart for several years and she says that alot of time they will plate with gold over silver and then mark it 18K not stating that it is plated. I have included some pics and hope that some of you might have and opinion of the Pearl ring.

Thanks in advance for looking and you response.

Some of your suspicions are correct. H.G.E. means Heavy Gold Electroplate. So it is plated with 18K gold. But that is a nice find anyway. When ever you find jewelry you know that it is in a place that will possibly hold more high dollar items.

Great finds. What program are you using? I have a DFX and rarely find jewelry.

Sweet! I have run a bit dry on jewelry lately at the beach, perhaps I should try inland. I hope your luck continues, Rick.
