Finds from an Old Road

I stopped at a bend in the road to take a look and found this little trinket. After sweeping the area, I moved down the road about a 1/2 mile, where the trail headed into a wash. Almost instantly I came across this little hunk of Chain. Not sure if the chain is part of the Trinket (cuff link, I think) but it just seemed odd to hit these two items so far apart. And Yes, since then, I've covered the whole distance in between without any more jewelry, just nails, horseshoes, ox-shoe, brass, and other stuff that falls off a Wagon.
