Hello Forum.
Its been awhile since I have posted, been just kinda prowling. I would like to share all the finds from a weekend in kentucky last spring while visiting my son. I had no idea of any sites in Kentucky, just went for a afternoon ride in the country and took this deadend road, which on the way in I passed this little trailer along the road with an elderly man sitting on the front porch, when I turned around and came back, I stopped and said hello and told him I was looking for a place maybe to look for Indian artifacts,
and the man said well you can look right there on that side hill. I seen arrowheads there before. so the wife and I head back to the side hill. We had a blast..Didn't find many points. but boy, did we find alot of broken celts and scrapers. I hope you all agree with me on the big item that Im showing in the pics is a nice scraper of some kind, and I would guess the big chunk of flint to be a hoe. and the smooth rock, Im not really sure what they would of used it for. The one broken point i did find looks like it was a Harrison Turkeytail.
I hope someday I can make it back to this site..I believe it has lots to give up.. Thanks for looking..

I will be posting more pics as soon as I figure out what size they need to be..Sorry...

The large stone on the bottom definitely looks to be some sort of tool. More pics would help. The spall of flint on the top looks to be St. Louis green from the pic. Let's see the rest!

Looks like you got a truck load. Nice haul from Kentucky. Sounds like a nice old man at that dead end road

Looks like I made my post at the exact time you were posting more pics. That definitely looks like a Turkey Tail to me. Do you remember exactly were you found it? You may want to concentrate there as it may have been part of a cache.
