so I grab the 202 and and hit a city owned lot were a hotel was. managed to get a nice tootsie toy and 2 makeup compacts watch and clock guts. a nice print plate from the CROWN GARAGE. I was doing my thing and a guy that lived next door came over to talk to me...started chatting and next thing i know he is telling me of a bayonet he found two blocks away on the river beach.. IT was found in 1974, he digs thru the closet and calls his wife to ask were it is. brings it out for me to look at and one thing led to another. i offered some cash for it and he said no he was going to keep it. so i keep hunting and he comes back out and says, come back in a week and i might sell it to ya. he is laid off and needs the money. and i would like that bayonet for my collection. looks kinda like a civil war S N S BAYONET but the only pic i could find is not the same style as the one I'm looking to buy only resembles it... it has makers marks on the handle. so i hope to better id it after purchase. maybe British not sure... thanks for looking MR TUFF
