This past weekend I discovered an old farm not in use & grown over. I knew the folks that lived/farmed the property back in the 70's & is now owned by another farmer who gave me permission to detect. The farmhouse was moved to another location so all thats there is the barn, grainery & a couple of sheds. I spent Sat. & Sunday mornings detecting with my Minelab X-Terra 705 using a 3kHz 9" concentric coil.
Picture #1: A brass, cabinet drawer pull with attached hardware & a broken something or other. Any guesses on this one?
" #2: A bronze Champion 6-Lever lock.
" #3: A religious pendant that has the city of Russa name "DUBROVNIK" on it. Type of metal-unknown at this time. A military Great Seal button-brass or bronze.
" #4: The other side of the pendant in #3 plus same button.
" #5: A brass or copper ladies compact made by Irresistible Inc. Jersey City,N.J. & some type of buckle-possibly silver?
Anyway this is my 1st. year detecting & the 1st. farm I detected on. Haven't found any coins-yet but I'll be going back.
