Searched 3 boxes of dimes plus 200 in rolled dimes

Totals =

6 rosies

1 merc 1942 (that makes two mercs in two days and three ever)

1 silver Canadian

3 foreign (one which is a 2001 Canadian with a very different back that I'd never seen before. It doesn't have the boat that I'm used to. It has faces and says Year of volunteers. Any idea on if this is special or not?)

I think the 2001 was just a commemorative type of coin for volunteers. (similar to the bicentennial half).

Seagate is correct - it is a 2001 commemorative for the volunteers, I got one this week myself, never seen it before, may be someone released a big batch or something... Black book says face value... but I'll keep it...
