Nice work Gman. You really do like hitting those bags!

That 41-S large S nickel you mentioned... is that a variation or something? I don't follow variations... only the years and different mints. I have a TON of pre 60 nickels though, so if you could let me know if there are any variations and what they are for the nickels I would appreciate it. Or a link to a site that has them all.

The only one I am aware of for pre-1960 nickels is the large/small mintmark on the 1941-S. Basically, if the S looks like a 1940 or earlier, its a small S. If it looks like a 1946 or later, its the large S.
There are few errors coins as well. My info is from the Red Book so its pretty basic.
