Did my semi-typical weekend trip to a bank just a bit from home (15 minutes or so) that sells me bags from their coin machine.

Picked up
1 - $500 bag of dimes
2 - $100 bags of nickels
2 - $50 bags of pennies

Also got 2 - $50 bags of pennies and 4 Ikes from a different bank.

Only went through the dimes so far
2 pre-1965 Roosevelt (1946, 1963-D)

2 Canadian (1979(2))

1 Foreign (Cayman Islands, 5 Cents (1990))

For those that don't already know Red = First time I have found that variety in 2008.

I'll get to the rest later as I have some errands to run.

Finished the 2 bags of nickels after running some errands today.

The first $100 bag of nickels.... All I can say is WOW best bag ever for total # of pre-1960 nickels (seemed like about 8-10 per handful)
Ended up with
6 - 1943-P War Nickels
1 - 1944-D War Nickel
2 - 1945-D War Nickels
2 - 1949-S <-- still needed to complete a roll of this variety
204 other pre-1960 Jefferson (1938(2), 1939(4), 1940(13), 1940-D(10), 1940-S, 1941(20), 1941-D(5), 1942(3), 1946(23), 1946-D(6), 1946-S(2), 1947(6), 1947-D(4), 1947-S, 1948(3), 1948-D(5), 1949(3), 1949-D(4), 1951-D(3), 1952(3), 1952-D(4), 1953(3), 1953-D(5), 1954, 1954-D(8), 1954-S, 1955-D(10), 1956(4), 1956-D(2), 1957(3), 1957-D(16), 1958-D(18), 1959(2), 1959-D(6))

1 penny

Amazingly, not 1 Canadian or Foreign coin in the bag.

$100 Bag #2 of nickels... back to more typical finds

Apparently in some coin machines they are worth a nickel as I have now found 2 or 3 of them....all as nickels.
