I went to the bluff today but didn't stay very long. Found the usual bullets and shells. In front of a cave I found the little rock. And I have a question..... how do you know if it is more that just a rock? I wanted to stay longer and hunt there but time was limited. We came home the back way and passed the big barn that I have a pic on the Charter Member forum. Lucky for me the owner was going down the road hauling hay and I waved at him till he turned the tractor off. I told him about my hobby and what I had been finding and I happen to have the shackles with me so I showed them to him. And then I asked..." Do you mind if..."! HAHA! The look I got from him was priceless!....but...he said YES! ;D Hopefully I can get over there next week!

Ya'll have a great weekend!

;)

Nanners, I can't wait to see your finds. I would be so excited that I would be there first thing in the morning! Yes, that is a beautiful picture you took of that barn.

Good thing you had your shackles with you. Do you take them where ever you go? ;D

Nana,

Ask and you shall receive, way to go.

Hope the new spot works out.

Really nice photo.

have a good un...............

Nana are we seeing the kinky side of you? Carring those shackles around. Say check around the foundation rock. Nice place for buried cache. HH Burdie

Nice looking spot! Don't forget to check those corner post areas, they were popular spots to bury money back in the day. Good luck Nana. Tsgman

scan the rock piles, they sometimes hid it under a few of the rocks. After all the work to pick them off the field, who would want to pick them a second time?

The, "she must be nuts look" ???
Good luck on your hunting; it looks like an awesome site ;)

Nice looking site. Are you in Amish country? The barn reminds me of them. Either way keep an eye out for a likely location for festivities to be held. Back when, people use to gather for a barn razing and good food and drink. Good luck HH

Nice site! Pond looks old as well, maybe around the edges of it? HH, Mike

Thank you!

And thanks for all the tips! I need all the help I can get! I hope to get there sometime this week.

Ashleen.......that was the look! :D

I don't live in Amish country....it is very unique to this area...

And yes..... I carry those shackles with me most everywhere! :D Great conversation starter! :D

Thanks ya'll!

;)
