Went back to my favorite park early this morning for a few hours. Cherry picked the deep signals. Found a very worn 192? Merc and a 1944 Washington. Both coins have some weird discoloration/soil damage that doesn’t clean off with baking soda which is unusual for this park. Also found 3 wheaties.

Nice Silver Finds !

Is odd on the Discoloration,
I see that every so often.
Maybe Chemicals or Pine Trees ?

Or driveway ?

Nice
How deep ?

Merc was at 7 inches
Quarter was at 10 inches
Amost all of the oldies at this park are over 6 inches - past the halfway point on the Etrac depth guage.

That's some awesome cherry picking! Silver George at 10" oh man how deep are the real oldies there?

That's what I'm wondering!

Sweet silver!

By the "just dropped" look of that '44, there's more to be had
