Anyone can post a "wanted" ad, only charter members can reply with offer to sell item, if charter member post "wanted" ad anyone can reply with item to sell, it always favors the Charter member...

Did you ever get out and hunt the yard yet?

Andy, the 305 is not compatible with the 3 KHz coils.

You can only run the 7.5K and the 18.75K units.

FYI

I did hunt the yard. I posted In the todays finds. Mostly wheaties and a few odd ball finds. And if I cant get a lower frequency coil I may have to upgrade my whole set up. I am just not hitting on silver and its vdi is closer to a pulltab with the stock coil. May have to bite the bullet and buy a new machine for spring

Nah the 305 is a very capable machine. You just need a dd coil. I had a 305 I have a 705. They are great machines I just rarely use them over my etrac. One of the best silver days I ever had was with my 305.

7.5KHz is very good for silver target response.

It is good for 'general purpose' detecting.

Do not think you are missing silver targets because you are swinging that machine, I have one and it works great.

Put in the time, the finds will come.
