Looking for some HELP guys,
I'm coming to El Dorado Hills in Jan, 9-12, 2012. What are the conditions like in Jan? Any ideas where I can go MD? Would love to get some good info from you guys. I'm coming from Maryland, the only MD I do here in Jan is at the Beach.

Any public Gold panning sites? ???

You guys can send me an email if you don't want to give up your sites and your info to everyone else. I'm only here for 2-3 days, I promise I won't take anymore then the cost of my plane ticket. Who's with me?

Could go together if your off during the week.

Thanks, Guys

Thanks for all the great info guys, it should really help a lot. :dontknow:

I guess most of you like to read, well I like to hunt, and in Maryland / Pa we do, anytime of the year is fine with us.

Guess I'm done here, I feel better. :hello:

If anyone comes to Maryland just knock, I'll open my door and lend a hand anyway I can. :coffee2:

Hey bud,

I have no idea where El dorado hills is. If it's in the mountains, you can bet on it being cold, and probably having snow on the ground. The water in the creeks will be either frozen over, or ice water. Yahoo weather should give you current weather conditions. Good luck

More information about the area the you could possibly imagine in the book mentioned in my thread, California Gold Rush History. Rescue is a rural area adjoining El Dorado Hills (an upscale bedroom community) Best local place to pan: Coloma Gold Discovery Park (where the gold rush started) eight miles from Rescue.
I live at the Jurgens townsite marked on the Sat. photo.
Current sunrise temperatures here running 20- 30 degrees, mid fifties by afternoon.
