today I was traveling and got on the the Blue Ridge parkway and passed by an area where there is an old grave on Federal land and I remarked to my wife, about 20 years ago someone was caught by Rangers trying to dig that grave at night.
I wondered at the time it happened, what someone wanted some old bones for. Then I remembered about a month ago reading on this Beale forum about treasure 6 ft under, on one of the ciphers and it dawned on me as I drove by today why that grave had been attempted to be robbed.
From what I remember, it did not fare well for them at all, attempted grave robbery in a Federal park. Mel Fisher, with all his resources, attempted to find the Beale treasure at a location close to Bedford, Va. although site was void of any treasure.
That is good enough for me.
