It’s says Jamestown va on the handle of the hatchet/hammer 1607 was when Jamestown was founded 1907 would have been 300 years later I’m not sure about what the pic on the hatchet

That’s a sweet watch fob. Before WW1, everyone had a pocketwatch, so fobs were a popular accessory. That slot is the give away.

Congrats on the watch fob rescue. It looks to be in nice shape and it's not an advertising fob. Probably an Exposition piece.
