Was out hunting in the woods at a site where a supposed Military Fort used to stand during the mid 1800's. There have been archeologist out there digging, so who knows what has been brought there. I don't know if this is from the period or modern. I thought it may be older because it has a hand hammered look. Anyone recognize it? It seems to be Iron.

Thanks, Jack

Only other items were some small pieces of rusted iron, nothing identifiable. I would like go back, it took me a while to find the place, even though I used some deet, by the time I got there I was pretty sweaty and was starting to become a meal for the local insects.
