I normally lurk the beach forums but I have quite a bit of interest in investment coins as well. I started a website about 2 1/2 years ago about Australia's rarest decimal coin - a 2000 $1 coin muled with a 10c coin obverse / normal dollar reverse. The Royal Australian Mint is extremely tight lipped about the mule and opinion says about 400 - 2000 released by mistake - mostly in rolls that went straight to the Perth Casino in Western Australia. Anyway I just wanted to say how rewarding having a site has been, the contacts from fellow coinees and the adsense revenue has been good too. Also you will find as I have that large online coin sellers / dealers will be very willing to provide a reciprocal link - the secret is to say you are an info site and not selling anything. Later you can sell advertising article space, add pay for click affiliations etc. I would urge anyone to pick a particularly rare coin - see if there is a site about it - if not why not create one - so easy with freeby sites like weebly or cheap hosting with fatcow etc. Its all good because you will find a niche and with a tiny bit of work be on top of google for searches on that coin.
