Not sure what 3 pan outs means. How much material did you run? Chunky gold is always a plus and means there may be more. I would pursue the spot further and hopefully you will hit a place where many are pocketed.

Is it great? Just depends....how much work did you have to do and what makes you happy. But persistence can prove rewarding.
I had to sit the past few days out....a fellow miner who came to visit gave me a crud bug....temporarily down an out..

That sucks so did my best friend about a week ago I'm just getting over it now we r getting. 3 inches of rain this weekend

Are you classifying at all? You might want to try that as it makes it easier to pan when you are just starting out. Move and sort more dirt and you will probably find more. Good Luck and keep us posted.

Three buckets of dirt on the east coast... you are doing great!
Three buckets of dirt on the westcoast... not so much.
Classifing your buckets will get you more gold if possible, just remember to rinse those bigger rock in the classifer before dicarding them.
