I was so caught up in figuring out how to post an image I forgot to say what they were.
Both 1/2 reales (my first).

Your 2 up on me :icon_thumright:

Congratulations!! Hogge :headbang:

Hi HCW :hello: way to go on stellar finds there... they catch you by surprise when you see that odd-sized weird looking silver come out of the hole don't they :laughing7: This is nice to see... Back in January I was hunting a 1780's house and scored a 1788 2 reale and 30 yards away I got a 1788 half reale about an hour later.. quite the rush. Huge congrats :headbang: :headbang:

Nice finds HCW

No spanish silver for me yet but i know it`s out there.

I was quite surprised. I thought the first one was an early dime.
Thank's Golf.

Congrats...two in one day is awesome.

I love finding the Spanish silver in the states. I did not find any for the first few years of detecting then I found three in the last 16 months. I find that is the way detecting works for me once I get a certain type of coin I wanted that took years to find they just seem to start popping up more often.

Go back to that site and pound it...good luck.
