I purchased an E-trac a few months back and took it for it's first real hunt over the weekend. I had done some work with it in my coin garden, but this was it's first time outside the yard.

In about 3 hours of hunting a well picked park I dug 10 Wheaties (The oldest a 1919, but most in the 40's-50's), 3 Mercury dimes (One 1917 and two 1942's), one silver ring and two brass/plated rings. Oh, and a few bucks in clad . I was running the 10x12 SEF and the standard Minelab coin program in auto. I can't wait to see what I've been missing at some of my regular hunt sites!

Looks like a good time ! Congrats :icon_thumright:

That machine is picking up what others missed. Great job, good to know you can go back over sites and still find silver.

Congrats on some great finds. I just got the 10x12 SEF coil myself. I hear it is a deep coil.

Nice finds!

I just got an Etrac 10 days ago, but due to cold weather have not been able to use it yet. Driving me crazy. Like you found, I have spots that I absolutely know have silver left after years of people detecting them. I can't wait to get out.

Congrats. I'm sure your silver count will sky rocket now.
