Got permission to search a field and went over it for a few hours with some friends. My friend Josh found some very nice old buttons and a 20s wheat. Some guy ended coming up and talking to us about how he metal detected too. He left and came back with his metal detector WITHOUT even asking the owners permission or asking us if it was ok. We were kind of P'd off but he had kids with him so there wasn't much we could do. It always seems like you have to detect early morning or at night so you don't get scavengers like these. Next time We'll leave and call the cops on him. ;D Anyways these are my finds.

First off....Beautiful find's,still looking for the IH and the buckle would be cool as well. But Who in the hell would have the "nad's" to try and pull that off.I would have called the landowner over,to hell with the cop's. :tard: Unbelievable!!!!!

Wow, you lucky dog, I am still waiting on my first Indian Head.. very very very nice

Man.. that is pretty ballsy!!! Maybe spend and hour watching TV and rolling up a few hundred little foil balls to spread all over?? ;-)

I'm only kidding!!!! ...number 2 brass washers work much better when you are seeding a field!!!

Hey MadMac were'nt you the one in chat joking about giving up???? lol I new ya were due to make some finds! those are great and the IH is wonderful, has great patina on him! But I am sorry about the SLOB that would infringe upon you and the land owner,it seems that in every hobby there are idiots like that who try to ruin it for the rest of us who play by the rules. I hope your next hunt goes better and I know we'll be seeing more of you and your finds on here!

Congrats on the great find!

Sorry about the interloper. Next time tell him you own the land & he's not welcome...

I dont think he would believe me since Im only 23 and I look 18 :-X .Anyways It just bothers me to think the guy is probably over there now while Im at work. He might even ruin it for the rest of us since The owner wont even know who it is and think Im welcoming unwanted attention to his property. Apparently he sometimes reads these forums. Again , He brought two kids with him to dig up his holes ::) so I didnt want to make a big fuss about it in front of them.

that does take nerve, I would of just explained to him the property does not belong to me, I got permission and if you would like permission you need to find out the owner and contact him. Also just tell him you agreed to turn over 100% of your finds to the owner. LOL
