FINALLY some Silver! - Or, "April fools or not, this really happened!"
Stephen King used to be a neighbor of mine, but I RESISTED telling him my life story for fear of giving him nightmares, but today is a classic.
Today is our 14th Anniversary (YES on April Fools Day) and my Wife and I had big plans for a nice evening, but fate, with it's cruel sense of humor had other plans and I woke up this morning and 2/3 of my FACE is Paralyzed, yes, Bell's Palsy .....I can't even SPIT right! ....I am pist, ok? (You forget how much you value the ability to SPIT, until you CAN'T SPIT!)
So because I felt like doo-doo, we went and got a box of halfs we had been waiting on and my 10 year-old, who was helping out, and who has ALSO caught the bug, pulls a NICE '64 90%-er!
We only got about 20 NIFC's from the rest, but to hear the ring of silver made my day, even though I couldn't SMILE about it without freaking everybody out!
Hope all of your hunts keep turning up nice finds!
