Nothing really fantastic, but I finally found a silver dime and a sterling United States Navy ring in my back yard. I just started detecting this year, my wife got me a Garrett ace 250 for Christmas and I've been out trying to familiarize myself with it. As you can see I found a lot of clad coins , the Navy ring I think belonged to the man who first built the house but he has since passed away so I'm going by what my neighbor has told me. It was a nice find but I think there was a stone on the face of it that is missing. I've gotten addicted to m.d. and haven't gone arrowhead hunting at all this year, guess I needed a change. Now that I have some practice I've got to do some research and find some old sites. Thanks brother, for talking me into this hobby, let someone else look for arrowheads this year. I did find four musket balls that I forgot to include in the picture, all of which were of a large caliber. They rang up good under coin. Good luck hunting!
Jim.

Nice collection of finds.

If you used the White's MXT then there is a switch position for finding arrowheads and hammerstones... it is not well documented so most people are unaware that this can even be done. Leave it to those clever White's engineers to enable us to find the really old stuff. I bet Crusader is really envious of us because they will not export the "arrowhead" feature to Europe and so he has to find the old roman, greek, celtic and hammered coins. he is probablt green with envy right now!

thanks for taking the time to share a picture of your finds.

Warning: Silliness above
