the ground is awful wet and still frozen in spots or frozen after the first couple of inches - but the treasure bug hit me hard this afternoon, so away I went - only found (8) clad and then a pleasant surprise on a solid "nickel" hit, a ladies gold band - when I got home and cleaned it and looked through my loop, it states 10KF - still a great find and put a smile on ole Hawkeye's face :-))) HH - Hawkeye Jim.

Way to go Hawkeye. That find is golden for sure.

Congrats on the nice find Jim! Does 10KF mean Karat Filled? HH, Mike

I did a little research and I believe you are correct, but it sure doesn't look filled. HH - Jim.

Dang, no nickel? Bum luck that is. But I guess that old yeller ring will have to do. Last gold ring I found bounced back and forth from nickel to pulltab and I nearly didn't dig it. That signal on my Garrett is usually a big old style pulltab. Great find. M ;) nty
