Today after I finished up my college classes, I went out for about 2 hours for a quick hunt of a field that's next to a river in my town. Found a bunch of shotgun shells and some cans before I found anything good. On a small hill that sat between the river and the field, I found a 1739 King George II half penny that was around 7 inches down. It's a little rough looking, but I can't complain. It read in the low-mid 70s on the AT Pro. Very cool to find a coin in my town that's actually 35+ years older than the town itself. I also found some fired bullets which were kinda neat. Tomorrow will probably be a water hunt in that same area. Overall it was quite a good Friday for me.
