Truly an amazing day. I've had some pretty vivid dreams about detecting, but they've never come close to this:

1837 Counter-Stamped (J.W. Covel) Large Cent, 1841 & 1890 seated dime, and a truly beautiful (minus the hole of course) 1852 Three-Cent "Trime".

Can't find anything else to say...I've never come close to a day of hunting like this before.

Hope you enjoy as much as I do.

plus 2 seated and largie one hell of a day

I love those three cent pieces. That one is in great shape. The heck with the hole.

that's a dang good dig

Awesome! How drepcze? Where were they? Do you use ATpro If so what numbers they come up as?

An awesome if you ask me. Congrats on the finds.

Amazing finds! I would be so excited to have a day like that!

Depths were between four to seven inches. My AT Pro is no more (sadly...shoulda kept that thing), I hunt with a DFX-300. The three cent was bouncing in the 50s, the dimes in the 80s, and the large cent...can't remember now. I'll have to go swing it again.

LC vdi 87-89 , turn tone id on , vco audio on and hunt in modified coin and jewelry program! The Dfx is an awesome machine , the stock programs are set very conservative maybe 50% of its ability , for stability !

I've definitely got to second that. I've managed to tweak mine to run smoothly at a preamp gain of 4.

Best find in that lot was the counter stamped large cent. Not that I'd throw out the others if I found them but that counter stamped penny, I would have been well pleased.
