finally got out

yea!!!, i haven't metal detected for a couple of years due to ongoing battle with cancer. after a nice easter dinner at my sister's i decided to give it a try again. it was a nice day in buffalo and the ground was soft. I got the whites classic sl, put on my surgical and canvas gloves and hit a small park. i found six cents in pennies in between head rushes from crouching and getting up . i got some what winded but it sure felt good finding things again. a half hour was good for me.maybe i will try and get out during the week it is suppose to be in the 50's.

You picked a great hobby to get you outside and get a little excersize. Any keepers you find is icing on the cake. My guess is you'll be able to stay out a little longer each time. Keep at it and keep in touch. And have fun!.

Shymot, Glad to see your post. I am a fellow Big C survivor. Survivor is the word they like to use now,which means we are hanging in there! I have my good and bad days,but I can always count on MDing at least cheering me up while I last or can stay out. Hang on brother and keep your eyes on the Lord. Poppop

Thanks alot everybody. i will probably get out later this week. its suppose to get up to 60. have to hit around the playground equipment so i can find some clad to supplement my income.
