buddy of mine called to say they finally worked one of the fields i hunt but also said there were people walking it already,had some time to go yesterday and found these among all the tracks, a few small points and some flake tools that didnt make the other hunters standards

I bet they missed them Jeff. Pretty nice finds. I am seeing this "hobby" growing with more and more tracks. I think a lot of the older hunters are coming back to it as well.
Early bird gets the worm could not be more true now days.

this field is a known producer of hardstone and big blades, ive seen people walking right behind the tractor ,sometimes they leave the small stuff so they can keep ahead of the crowd,if you arent there at daybreak after a rain you wont find the good stuff

Some of my best points are leftovers..... I think who ever left those tracs, needs an eye test, and some thick ass glasses..... LOL
I hate to see tracks, but like I said i still find some nice stuff in them sometimes. Good hunt. Glad you got out and did it up right...

Jeff, for some reason your pics aren't showing up on my pc & other peoples are? Bet they are good though!

About people being in the fields, I went to my local artifact show & showed some of my finds Sat, talked to a bunch of people & most of them hunt the same areas I do So my honey holes aren't a secret? no wonder I can't find anything!

Anyway you've given some incentive to go anyway I guess they can't find everything. (Just most of it! )
