Finally got my day in the woods

Well, after packing up my office so it could be moved I didnt have alot to do so off to the woods I went. I called GOIO but he stood me up. The pirate. LOL. I hunted along time before I found the Merc. I was about to give up but that gave me hope. I moved around a little and got a nice tone. Dug a 925 AMBASA silver ring. I think its from the carribean. It has a big stone in it. It was a little chilly and I was happy and was ready to call it quits but got a 10/46 so I had to dig it. Sure nuff, the quarter was next. I still hadnt dug a penny or any other clad ALL afternoon, so I knew I had to hunt til I found at least one penny. I got three of those but lost all three when I took my overalls off. LOL. Glad I didnt lose the silver stuff. SMAN...

The digging was easy. There was enough leaves to keep the ground unfrozen. Also, where the sun had been shining on an open area the ground was in pretty good shape too. SMAN...

Thanks Lowbats. I looked at those larimar stones and they are much darker blue than mine is. Mine is almost white with some blue flakes thrown in. Still a cool find. SMAN...
