Started with a Minelab xterra 505. Then Equinox 600 with stock coil, xl coil and sinper coil depending on circumstances. Now use a manticore.

I went to two different places over the weekend. One always seems to give up ceramic, something brass and something lead. Occasionally its interesting lead ( usually fishing weights or the older hand made ones) Have found 2 large cents here but hasn't yet to prove itself on being really coin heavy. Only good thing was the fancy lead item. I have no idea what it is. It may have had 2nd matching half?

Other site is similar mix, minus old coins. Some bottles, junk lead and a lot of ceramic shards come out. Brass stuff like spoons, lipstick tubes modern toy cars ect. Think I'm too far from town for coins in this section. It's certainly an old enough area. This time was ceramic, junk lead, junk brass, broken fancy brass something and an old reins guide.
