Winter is officially here, and we finally got a frost. 20 degrees the last couple of nights, and again tonight, strong high pressure moving in from the north. After all the days of warm rain from the south, some of the plants had thought perhaps it's spring and were doing things they weren't supposed to. That's been brought up short now though.

Calillies don't do well in a freeze. These had been going great guns, and were getting ready to bloom. Not now.

Frost on a lonely blossom. Don't know what kind of flower this is, but it's done for.

I've seen springtime give a look like that around here after a late frost and freezing rain.

Kinda looks like what passes for summer around here, haha!
