Hello all, finished up a box of Brinks nickels today that i started searching yesterday. Near the end of the box today, i found a dateless type one buffalo, then a few rolls later a 1908 V nickel ;D. Yesterday i found a 43-P war nickel and a 69-S proof in this box.
6 boxes of halves picked up today. 1st box was a skunk. 2nd box a few rolls in i see a worn silver edge and pulled a 1908-O Barber! ;D It's really worn down but my 1st in a long time. Also in this box were 4 bens, a 43 walker and 3-40%ers. Box 3 had 2 Walkers and a Ben that were all in the same roll, there was nothing in the rest of the box.
So there you have it, a 1908-O half and a 1908 nickel on the same day. 3 more boxes of halves to go thru. Thanks for reading and HH-MM2

Wow...

I found a Barber dime this year, and was stunned. I can't imagine finding a Barber half!!

Congrats...it is a beautiful coin!!!!

Thanks. Forgot to mention that in the same box as the Barber, there was one roll that had split and was repaired with scotch tape. This in a factory sealed box.

What a great mix of coins you got there. Out of all us coin roll hunters, I wonder how many have found a Barber? (I know I haven't). Very cool mountainman.

Wow MM2,
I am happy to see you got a shave. I guess this is a true sign of spring, the beard is not needed anymore, especially with this warm weather coming!!!

That was an awesome batch... It's amazing how you can get a 104 year old half dollar in circulation, as well as a 104 year old nickel...

Keep on searching!
